Jersey Shore Star Helping Jackson Council Candidate with Grassroots Campaign
Jackson–One of MTV’s Jersey Shore meatballs, Deena Cortese is lending a helping hand to family friend Bonnie Barrington in her bid, along with Jackson resident Raymond Cattonar in this year’s election. Barrington says her daughter is friends with the MTV star and has been helpful with getting the message out about her candidacy.
In this year’s election, the pair are running against a Republican team of incumbent Ken Bressi and newcomers Barry Calogero and Rob Nixon. Although Jackson Township’s elections are ‘non-partisan’, there is no official Democrat ticket. Cattonar and Barrington are running as independents.
