Toms River Police Searching for Two Involved in Armed Robbery at Gas Station

Toms River–On Tuesday, October 02, 2012 at approximately 5:15 AM an armed robbery occurred at the Shell Gas Station located at 1095 Rt 37 W, Toms River.  Two males accosted the attendant when he arrived to open the business.  One of the males was armed with a handgun.  Both suspects wore hooded sweatshirts, ski mask and gloves.  After forcing the attendant to turn over an undetermined amount of cash the two actors fled on foot.  The investigation is being conducted by Officer D.J. Unger and Detective Roger Hull.  The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Criminalistics Unit is also assisting.  Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Hull at 732-349-0150 x1291
