Citizen Complaints Lead Toms River Police to Man Selling Drugs in School Zone.

Toms River–On 9/27/2012 a surveillance operation was conducted by members of the Toms River Police Department in the area of Walnut Street regarding citizen complaints of CDS activity.  As a result of the surveillance, a motor vehicle stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by  John L. Williams Jr.,age 46, of New Street, Toms River. The motor vehicle stop and subsequent investigation led to the seizure of the following:  95   Oxycodone pills, six wax folds of  heroin, 3 grams of crack cocaine, 3 grams of cocaine, two bags of marijuana,  11 Suboxone films and 5 Xanax (estimated street value of $3750).  Williams was charged with possession/possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine, Oxycodone and Xanax as well as distributing CDS in a school Zone.  Bail was set at $150,000.00 no ten percent.  Both investigations were lead by the department’s Special Enforcement Team
