Kyrillos Gets Expected Endorsement from Lieutenant Governor

Middletown–Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno officially announced her endorsement of Joe Kyrillos for U.S. Senate today at a Women for Kyrillos fundraiser that was attended by over 300 New Jersey women whose contributions totaled more than $100,000. The Lieutenant Governor has attended several campaign events, including a recent stop at the campaign headquarters, to encourage volunteers and reinforce their hard work during this important election.

“We need Joe Kyrillos in the U.S. Senate, and I will work hard to make sure that happens,” said Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. “Women across the state tell me the same things they are telling Joe. We need to create jobs and we need new leadership in Washington to do that. Joe has a plan to restore our economy and I stand with the Governor in my strong support of Joe, and know that New Jerseyans will elect him as their next U.S. Senator in November.”

“I am grateful to have the support of the Lieutenant Governor,” said Joe Kyrillos. “I worked in 2009 to get the Governor and Lt. Governor elected, and I am working just as hard now to ensure the success of my candidacy. The people of our state know we need bipartisan solutions and a new way forward. We need leaders to step out of their ideological corners, and produce for the good of the American people. That’s what I have done with the Governor here in New Jersey, and that’s what I’ll do in Washington.”

“We are thrilled to have the Lieutenant Governor at our event, and even more appreciative of her support for Joe,” said Christine Hanlon, Statewide Chair of the Women for Kyrillos Coalition. “Like the Lt. Governor, and Susan Kyrillos, I am a mom worried about the future of my children. Women across our state are suffering from the failed policies of Bob Menendez and our leaders in Washington. We must elect a new leader to who understands that more taxes, more regulation and more spending destroy the economic prosperity that our nation was built on. Joe Kyrillos is that leader.”
