50′s Style Diner Opens in Toms River

By Debbi Winogracki

Reminiscent of a 1950’s diner, Poppy’s Place serves breakfast and lunch, seven days a week.  Specializing in fish & chips and Buffalo wings, owner Tina Parziale also takes pride in her homemade soups.  Tina and her husband John “Poppy” have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years.  Tina says, “We just bought a house in Toms River, so we decided to open our new restaurant here, off Water Street.  Business has been great so far, just by word of mouth.”
