Jake Owen in Concert—Oct. 12

Six Flags Great Adventure welcomes country music star Jake Owen in concert on Oct. 12 with special guests Love and Theft and Florida Georgia. The show is presented by CMT on Tour and will take place in the Northern Star Arena at 7 p.m. Show requires an additional ticket.

Doc Swan’s Friday Night Feast—Oct. 19

Contestants will receive prizes such as park passes and terror trail tickets for consuming the Friday Night Feast, which consists of squid in its own ink, snails, giant nightcrawler worms and Madagascar hissing cockroaches.  Freak show entertainer Doc Swan will host this stomach-churning event Oct. 19 at the Runaway Train Stage in Bone Butcher Terror-Tory at 7:30 pm. Up to 20 guests can register on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 6:15 at the Runaway Train Stage. Contest participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Fright Fest/2012 Season Closing Weekend—Oct. 26 to 28

Six Flags Great Adventure will celebrate the park’s closing weekend of the season Oct. 26 to 28.  The sixth and final weekend of Fright Fest will feature the park’s lineup of 30 Halloween-themed shows and attractions and its world-class line up of thrill rides including the newly-named No. 1 wooden coaster in the world by Amusement Today, El Toro, and the No. 3 steel coaster in the world, Nitro.  Park hours are Friday from 5:30 to 11 pm, Saturday from 10:30 am to 11 pm and Sunday from 10:30 am to 10 pm.

November Events

Six Flags GRAPE Adventure: A Wine and Food Event—Nov. 3 & 4

Six Flags Great Adventure will host the third annual, post-season, wine-tasting experience Nov. 3 and 4. The event will feature nearly 150 New Jersey wines for sampling, food and live music entertainment in the park’s Picnic Grove. The event also includes a limited number of Safari Tasting Tour tickets, which include a private safari tour and a stop in Camp Rose to feed towering giraffes while sampling from an array of locally-produced wines. (Theme park is not open during this event.)
