Jackson–The Saint Aloysius School girls and boys soccer teams have hit the ground running and are in their third week of the season with impressive playing all around.

Their next games were against Saint Dominic’s and Saint Rose. Brielle Anuario made her Gator debut in goal in the game against St. Rose and Daniella Diubaldi scored unassisted 4 minutes from full-time and while they were out-shot in both games, Lindsey Bischoff and Polina Sugar were superb in goal.

Robert Mahala made the score 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Robert converted a Joe Mendes pass into a shot from the 18-yard line over the St. Dominic’s keeper’s head. St. Dominic narrowed the lead to 2-1 just before half-time. In the second half, St. Dominic’s scored to take a 3-2 lead. With just 30 seconds left in the game, Joe Mendes crossed the ball from left-to-right off of a free kick to a charging Gerard Russo in the St. Dominic penalty area.
