Woman Says Spider Caused her to Lose Control on Oak Ridge Parkway

Toms River–Dawn Leiser 47 of Toms River was southbound on Oakridge Parkway when she lost control of her car and struck a utility pole near the CIBA Geigy.  Traffic Safety Corporal Frank Palino is investigating the 1130 a.m. accident in which the driver stated she was distracted after she noticed a spider in her vehicle. Leiser was transported to community medical Center for treatment and utility crews worked into the night repairing the pole.
