Overnight Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Toms River

Toms River–Fire gutted a mobile home in Toms River at the Friendly Village on Camino Verde early this morning.    The fire was reported at approximately 1:40 a.m.    The Pleasant Plains Fire Company responded and extinguished the fire shortly after 2:00 a.m.

Toms River Police Officer Ron Bayer was the first responder on scene within a minute from the initial call and found the home fully engulfed, according to Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.    The trailer was totally destroyed and Detective James Magovern and the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention are investigating,
