Georgian Court to Host Open House Event
Lakewood–Georgian Court University opens its doors to prospective undergraduate and graduate students to learn about all Georgian Court University has to offer at Open House on Saturday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the Wellness Center on the Lakewood campus. This is the first Open House since GCU’s May 2012 announcement to become fully coeducational by Fall 2013.
Faculty and staff will be on hand to discuss Georgian Court’s transition to coeducation, as well as the more than 30 undergraduate majors—including nursing; graphic design and multimedia; Latino/a and business studies; and dance—that the university offers. Attendees can also learn about more than 10 graduate degree programs and numerous graduate New Jersey certificates, the university’s many online courses, and the accelerated business programs that enable busy professionals to complete their degrees quickly and conveniently.
Student-led tours of the beautiful, safe historic campus will give visitors the chance to check out the library; the residence halls and chapel; the Audrey Birish George Science Center; and the new 67,000-square-foot Wellness Center, the soaring, environmentally friendly building that was added to an already exciting and beautiful campus.
In addition to faculty, student life, and athletics representatives, financial aid personnel will be present to discuss the availability of financial aid and guide students through the process.
