It’s a Sign at Main Street Ambassador Christian Academy

Toms River–The only school in the shore area with dual accreditation is about to be noticed, with the addition of signage to the once unmarked building. Recognized by the Middle States Association of Colleges & Schools, as well as the Association of Christian Schools International, the newly marked Ambassador Christian Academy is hoping to raise awareness of their presence in the community.
Ambassador Christian Academy School Principal Christina Hutchings told the crowd of 102 students and teachers from Pre K-8th grade that the school opened in 1979 with just 41 students. Over the years, enrollment has increased and decreased, but their core values of merging academics and a Christ-centered emphasis for students hasn’t wavered.
Toms River Township Mayor Thomas F. Kelaher attended the Sign Dedication and spoke directly to the students. Kelaher said, “The teachers at this school will give you the opportunity to learn a challenging curriculum throughout your time here, and you’ll leave with traditional values that you will use throughout your lifetime.”
According to their website, the mission of Ambassador Christian Academy, “Exists to engage children in learning experiences that challenge their hearts and minds within an instructional program marked by academic excellence, respect for others, biblical values and practices, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ.”
The school is located at 700 Main Street in Toms River.
