Jackson Police Blotter: Oct. 12-14, 2012

The following is a sample of incidents that Patrol Officers recently responded to or were involved with.  This does not represent all of the calls for service that were responded to during this time period.

 

Saturday October 13:

 

-     Officers responded to a reported dispute at a residence on Second Street.  During the investigation, a 29 year old male resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton.  He was processed at headquarters and released after posting bail.

-     During a motor vehicle stop on West Countyline Road, a 40 year old male  resident of Toms River was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Ocean County.  He was processed at headquarters and turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department when he was unable to post bail.

-     A 25 year old female resident was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Howell.  She was processed at headquarters and released after posting bail.

-     A 21 year old female resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Roselle.  She was processed and released after posting bail.

-     Officers responded to a reported dispute on Sunnybrook Road.  During the investigation, a 52 year old female was arrested and charged with Assault.

Bail was set at $5,000.00 and she was later lodged in the Ocean County Jail when she was unable to post bail.

 

Sunday October 14:

 

-     During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Toms River Road, a 27 year old male resident of Toms River was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Ocean County Superior Court.  The subject was lodged in the Ocean County Jail when he was unable to post bail.

-     A resident of Staten Island NY reported a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and Theft.  It was reported that unknown person(s) entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle while it was parked in the lot at Six Flags Great Adventure and stole property valued in excess of $2,000.00

-     Officers responded to West Pleasant Grove Road on the report of a suspicious vehicle with multiple occupants.  During the investigation, a 20 year old male resident was arrested after it was discovered that he had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Jackson and he also provided officers with a false name.  In addition to the warrants, he was charged with Hindering Apprehension and bail was set at $5,000.00.  He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail when he was unable to post bail.

 

Monday October 15:

 

-     During the course of a motor vehicle stop on West Veterans Highway, a 30 year old female resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Brick.  She was processed at headquarters and released after posting bail.

-     Employees of Six Flags Great Adventure made a report of Burglary and Theft.  It was reported that unknown person(s) entered a storage garage and stole a dump truck and landscaping equipment.  The property was valued in excess of $26,000.00.

 

Wednesday October 17:

 

-     Employees of the Reebok store in the Jackson Outlet Village made a report of Shoplifting.  It was reported that suspects had stolen property valued in excess of $180.00 and fled the area prior to police arrival.

-     A resident of Toms River made a report of Theft.  The victim reported that unknown person(s) entered his unattended vehicle while it was parked in the Sunoco parking lot on North Countyline Road and stole prescription medication.

-     Officers responded to a residence on Arcadia Court in an attempt to locate a person wanted on outstanding warrants.  Officers located and arrested a 22 year old male resident on outstanding warrants out of Jackson.  He was processed and later lodged in the Ocean County Jail when he was unable to post bail.
