Point Pleasant Police Arrest Two in Drug Raid
Point Pleasant–Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford announced today the culmination of an investigation into drug activity in the Ocean County area.
On October 10, 2012 Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group along with members of the Point Pleasant Borough Police Department conducted an investigation into drug activity within the Borough. Said investigation resulted in the arrest of
The following individuals were arrested and charged:
Natalio Hernandez age 27 of 601 River Avenue, Point Pleasant New Jersey. Mr. Hernandez was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine under one half ounce with intent to distribute. The Honorable Superior Court Judge James Blaney JSC set bail for Mr. Hernandez at $25,000 no ten percent.
Elias Rodriguez age 25 of 601 River Avenue, Point Pleasant New Jersey. Mr. Rodriguez was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine under one half ounce with intent to distribute. The Honorable Superior Court Judge James Blaney JSC set bail for Mr. Rodriguez at $25,000 no ten percent.
Assisting in the investigation were member’s of the Point Pleasant Borough Police Detective Bureau, the Point Pleasant Borough Police Patrol Division and the Ocean County Sheriffs Department K-9 Unit.
The media and public are reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations and that these defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
