Incumbent Replaced in Jackson School Board Election

Jackson–In a four person race for three open seats on the Jackson School Board, incumbent board member Tracey Murnane was the odd person out.   Incumbents Theresa Schiazza and Marvin Krakower, running as a team won their reelection bid with a 56% margin against the team of political newcomer Adam Silvan and incumbent Tracey Murnane.  Silvan, received 12,023 votes compared to his running mate, Murnane, who received just 9,280 votes.

This was the first school board election in Jackson held with the November general election.
