Stafford Motor Vehicle Crash Remains Under Investigation
Stafford Township–Stafford Police investigated a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle, a 1999 Chevy Prism, green in color, bearing SC reg. EKG305 driven by Robert C. Dalton, age 47, of Easley SC. The vehicle was traveling south on Rt. 539 when it drove off the left side of the roadway onto the grassy area, continued across Cedar Bridge Rd. and back onto the grassy area on the left side of Rt. 5
39 where it proceeded to overturn several times, ejecting the driver Mr. Dalton from the vehicle. Mr. Dalton sustained severe trauma and was subsequently flown to AC Medical Trauma Center.
