Holiday City Silverton Fire Remains Under Investigation

Toms River–A fire that broke out at 2300 Yorktown Boulevard at 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Holiday City, Silverton adult community remains under investigation.    Silverton FireCompany, Pleasant Plains FireDepartment, Toms River Fire Co 1 and 2, Brenton Woods Fire Co and Pioneer Hose Fire Company all responded.

As of 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Ocean County Sheriffs Department Criminal Investigation Unit was still on scene with a Blazer, the department’s arson detection dog.

No further details on this incident have been made available and the fire, which gutted the home, is still under investigation.
