Manchester Police Make Fencing Arrest After Shoplifting Investigation

MANCHESTER–On December 4, 2012, an investigation by The Manchester Township Police Department led to the arrest of 39 year old, Edward G. Willette of South Toms River for shoplifting and fencing. The investigation was initiated when police were alerted to shoplifting incidents that occurred at two separate CVS Pharmacies, both which were located in Manchester.

During the incidents Willette removed various items from their packaging, hid the items on his person before leaving the stores. As a result of the investigation Willette was charged by Detective Adam Emmons with Shoplifting and Fencing. The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Criminalistics Investigation Unit assisted with the investigation.
