Sheriff’s Blotter: November 2012 Ocean County Sheriff’s Dept. Arrest Blotter

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office made (1171) arrests from January 1, 2012 through November 30, 2012, and extradited (43) fugitives from out of state to face charges here in OceanCounty.

 (44) Subjects were arrested in November, of those (8) were outstanding Child Support arrears totaling $111,886.00 and (1) were Fugitives from Justice.  Field Services Unit arrests are as follows:

 

Bayville

 

 

11/14/12 – Brian Funkhouser, age 21, of Amhurst Drive, was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers M. Flynn and M. Shilling on a Manchester Municipal Court Warrant for a violation of a restraining order. Funkhouser was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.

 

 

11/14/12 A female juvenile, 16, of Cranmer Road was arrested by Sheriff’s         Officers J. Scott and M. Schilling on an Ocean Superior Court Warrant for failure to appear for a violation of probation. The female juvenile was processed, transported and lodged in the Juvenile Detention center.

 

 

11/26/12 Michael McCord, 33, of Anchorage Boulevard was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers C. Acevedo and G. Molino on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. McCord was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

 

11/26/12 Joshua Huggins, 27, of Point Pleasant Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers J. Bourke and P. Seyfried on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Huggins was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

 

11/27/12 Michael Caudill, 46, of Bittern Lane was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers F. Milani and R. Gronczewski on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Caudill was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

11/14/12 –Thomas Ragusa, 20, of Village Drive, was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers M.  Horton and R. Laudicina on an Ocean Township Municipal Court Warrant for a local traffic violation. Ragusa was processed released on his own recognizance.

11/26/12 Margaret Blackwell, 65, of Shell Street was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers C.

Acevedo and G. Molino on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Blackwell was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

11/5/12 James Stevenson, 34, of Route 88 was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers F.

Milani and W. Bigelow on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Stevenson was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

 

11/8/12 Joshua Guarino, 23, of Willow Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers M.

Flynn and Sergeant T. Vincent on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Guarino was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

 

11/14/12 Lance Hahn, 46, of Tunes Brook Drive was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers J. Strodel and Sergeant P. DeMarco on a Superior Court Warrant for violation of probation on original charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Hahn was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option of bail.

 

11/15/12 Ansel Applewhite, 20, of Sawmill Road was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers J. Strodel and Sergeant P. DeMarco on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $1,390.00. Applewhite was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.

 

11/19/12 Anthony Ruzicka, 27, of Pershing Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers

A. Wright and R. Laudicina on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Ruzicka was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

11/19/12 Timothy Davis, 43, of Bullard Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers

A. Wright and R. Laudicina on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the

11/28/12 Maria Cornman, 23, of Route 88 was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers C. Solimine and K. Fennessy on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Cornman was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

 

11/19/12 Wayne Rosario, 32, of Pine Street was arrested by Sheriff’s Officers J. Bennett and K. Fennessy on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $18,144.30. Rosario was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.

11/29/12 Shawn Newell, 40, of Perrys Lane was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives C. Vazquez and J. Mercado on two Ocean County Superior Court Warrants for failure to pay child support in the total amount of $34,478.01. Newell was processed, paid reduced purge, with the approval of the Ocean County Probation Department and was subsequently released.

11/19/12 Antoninella Johnson, 35, of Lincoln Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives J. Mercado and Deputy/US Marshal R. Trainor on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to appear for a arraignment interview on original charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. 11/28/12 Quasaun Scott, age 21, of Disston Street, Philadelphia, PA was charged by Sheriff’s Detective S. Metta with being a Fugitive from Justice from Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, where he faces charges of attempt to commit murder. Scott was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no bail pending extradition back to the State of Pennsylvania.
