Police, Fire Respond to Vacant Home Fire on Pelican Island

PELICAN ISLAND– Toms River Police responded to a fire at 115 Trinidad Avenue on Pelican Island at 1030 am on Wednesday morning.  Fire units from Seaside Heights Toms River 1 & 2,  and East Dover responded and quickly extinguished the blaze to the one and a half story cape cod that was vacant since suffering flooding since Sandy.  There were no injuries and Detective Thomas Dimichele and Corporal Louis Sulsenti are investigating along with the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention.
