Driver Injured After Dump Truck Crashes into Ambulance

LAKEWOOOD–(Via The Lakewood Scoop)–An Ambulance driver was injured Wednesday morning after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 70, an official said.

The accident occurred shortly before 11 AM, and caused heavy delays on Route 70 Eastbound.

A garbage truck reportedly rear-ended the Alert Ambulance vehicle, and at least two other vehicles were reportedly hit as well.

The driver was transported by Lakewood First Aid to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. TLS-MK.
