ORTLEY BEACH–Demolition of the Ortley Beach First Aid Station began this week. The structure, which was damaged by flood water during Hurricane Sandy was slated to be demolished by the township prior to the storm’s arrival. After the storm, it was used as a makeshift headquarters for various disaster relief efforts.
